Dr. Sonia Malik

Dr. Sonia Malik has spent more than three decades helping people navigate one of life's most personal journeys — the path to parenthood. As Chief Clinical Mentor for Infertility & IVF at Nova IVF Fertility Center in New Delhi, she brings together deep clinical expertise and a genuinely compassionate approach that patients and their families consistently appreciate.

Her training began at Maharishi Dayanand University in Rohtak, where she completed both her MBBS and her MD in Obstetrics & Gynecology. Over the years she built a career that spans India, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia, giving her an unusually broad perspective on fertility challenges across different populations and healthcare systems. She has also worked as a Scientific Collaborator at the Reproductive Research Center at Cleveland Clinic, USA, where she led training courses on IVF techniques, advanced hysteroscopic surgery, and micromanipulation — experience that has kept her practice at the forefront of the field.

Dr. Malik has performed over 7,000 ART cycles across her career and holds specialist expertise in IVF, ICSI, IMSI, reproductive endocrinology, recurrent pregnancy loss, premature ovarian failure, genital tuberculosis, and immunological causes of infertility. She has served as President of the Indian Fertility Society and the Indian Menopause Society, and as Chair of the Infertility Committee at FOGSI — roles that reflect the trust her peers place in her leadership. She has also contributed 123 peer-reviewed publications and 47 book chapters to the medical community.
