Dr. Karthikeya

Dr. Karthikeya is a Senior Consultant Ophthalmologist based in Delhi NCR, with a focus on vitreoretinal surgery, uveitis, and the management of complex retinal conditions. Over a career spanning more than a decade, he has built a reputation for tackling difficult cases — from diabetic retinopathy and macular holes to retinal detachment and retinopathy of prematurity — with careful precision and a calm, reassuring manner that patients and their families genuinely appreciate.

His academic journey is a strong foundation for his clinical work. He completed his MBBS at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, followed by his MD in Ophthalmology at AIIMS, New Delhi — one of India's most respected medical institutions. He went on to complete a dedicated Fellowship in Vitreoretina, Uvea, and ROP at AIIMS, and in 2023 undertook advanced training in medical retinal conditions, inherited retinal diseases, and uveitis at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, widely regarded as one of the world's leading eye centres. He also holds the FICO and MRCSEd — internationally recognised credentials that speak to his commitment to global standards of care.
